The Prime Minister of Buganda, Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga has informed Buganda that the Kabaka us healthy. The Kabaka had travelled out of the country to get medication and was not even around during his birthday in April.

However, he is now in the country and according to the Katikiro he is back on his feet fully. He revealed this using different social media platforms.

“Ssabasajja Kabaka returned from abroad, he is healthy and reigning over his Kingdom,” Mayiga revealed.

This trip also helped the Kabaka meet with several Buganda development partners in various European states including the Netherlands. The Kabaka flew out of the country via Dutch national airliner, KLM, to Germany for medical check up.

Unlike recent years, this time the Kabaka’s birthday run didn’t happen because he was not in the country. However, the Katikiro had promised that his birthday would be celebrated when he came back.

However, they haven’t talked about it and there no preparations for it, at least none that we know of.

The people of Buganda were happy to receive this news and all they asked for is for the birthday run to happen.

The King of Buganda is one of the most loved Kings in the country and it is evident by the way the Baganda always receive any good news around him.

Born Again Preachers Warn Kampala RCC Hudu Hussein To Stop Meddling In Their Affairs

Born again Christians have warned the Kampala Resident City Commissioner RCC, Hudu Hussein that he can’t stop them from doing what they were born to do.

News made round yesterday after Hudu Hussein said he has given street preachers only 39 days to leave the streets.

Apparently, the street preachers are causing havoc and a lot disorganization in the city. This didn’t impress the born Again Christians in any way.

According to Hudu, this is going to bring about order in the city. However, the Christians have decided not to be moved by this statement.

They have decided to organize more street preaching sessions instead. They say they don’t in any way see how preaching disorganizes the city. Some people said there are more pressing issues in the country but as usual Government chooses the least pressing.

Meanwhile, there are people who confessed saying this is what they have been waiting for.

“I side with him. Assuming all denominations came out on the streets preaching, how would the roads be? There are many churches existing where you and your people can meet and preach to yourselves. Let roads serve their purpose as roads!” a one Francis said.

“Kampala streets can finally get some sense of being organized. Street preachers are causing noise pollution and unnecessary drama! Some of them had become some sort of stand-up comedians. We have churches that are open 24/7 let them preach from there.” a one Beatrice said.

It should be remembered that Hudu is behind the clearing off of street vendors from Kampala. However, we don’t know how far he will go with this.

Is Investing In Solar Panels Worth It?

Solar panels turn sunlight into electricity, which is made up of energy components known as “photons”. Solar panels presently have a capacity of roughly 7.8 gigawatts, with this number projected to rise soon.

The advantages of solar energy

Solar energy systems have a lot of advantages. One of the most essential is that solar panels emit no carbon emissions when they are manufactured. Another great advantage of commercial solar panels is that they may enable you to save money on your energy bills. They can also reduce the power grid’s reliance on fossil fuels and provide resource efficiency to disconnected families and cities.

What are Commercial Solar Panels and How Do They Work?

Solar panels for corporate use are a collection of photovoltaic (PV) solar panels that use solar energy. Solar panels utilizing photovoltaic (PV) technology are made up of photovoltaic devices with a positive and negative coating that helps to produce an electrostatic force. A solar module is made up of numerous cells, and many panels or units can be connected to produce a solar array. To produce more energy, industrial solar panels use a massive amount of solar cells.

These may be mounted on the roofs of buildings and generate enough power to fulfil the structure’s power requirements. Commercial solar energy is a form of renewable energy, sustainable power that requires no upkeep and emits no carbon dioxide.

The Devil Is In Charge Of This Country, Winnie Kizza And Other Activists Claim

Winnie Kizza and other activists have said the devil is in charge of this country. She made these remarks during a town hall virtual meeting on the Covid-19 global response. It was under the topic: “What are the benefits and implications.” According to the activists, the government has to protect the inherent rights of the citizens. Among these also includes, freedom of worship which apparently is not free anymore.

“Covid-19 restrictions on places of worship is a continuation of the bizarre failed attempts to control worship in Uganda. Uganda in 2018, and 2019 has a history of religious bills which are discriminatory and overreaching. Resist. I think the devil is in action here. We need to take a stand to unconditionally open places of worship. They closed churches but some areas are more congested/worse than churches. The devil has taken over the state,” she said.

Winnie Kizza also says that lockdown seemed like the best solution in the beginning. Due to this, she participated in sensitizing Ugandans to adhere to the lockdown regulations. However, much as Ugandans thought politicians were doing their job, Winnie says the issue was more politicized for the benefit of a few.

“Covid-19 was used to clamp down on democracy and make the democracy lose meaning. And up to now, the population has given up on government. They don’t think they are doing whatever they are doing in good faith.”

Meanwhile, they centered this conversation on the freedom of worship because Covid has affected it.

EU’ Rights Agency Report Shows Increase Of Racism And Child Abuse Fuelled By The Pandemic

The European Union Rights Agency has produced its annual report showing an increase in racism and child abuse. This according to them, has been fuelled by the coronavirus pandemic.

“The pandemic and the reactions it triggered exacerbated existing challenges and inequalities in all areas of life, especially affecting vulnerable groups,” a report by the Vienna-based Fundamental Rights Agency,(FRA), said.

The FRA also added that the pandemic sparked off profound racist incidents. Groups that are marginalized like Refugees and migrants lost their jobs due to strict lockdown measures. Not only that but they were also at high risk of catching the virus due to their living conditions.

More to this, the marginalized groups were the targets of,
“racist and xenophobic incidents, including verbal insults, harassment, physical aggression and online hate speech”, according to FRA.

The report shows an increase in sexual abuse of children in 2020. The agency has advised Europe as they are fighting the pandemic, they should also find a solution to the issues that have come with it.

This is not just a European problem, but a world problem. In Uganda for example, we are fighting the same issues. the country registered a large number of child abuse cases especially sexual abuse. As of now, very many girls have dropped out of school due to early pregnancy.

Much as the lockdown is useful, it has come with its issues as well. If not tackled, we may have a lot of problems to handle after covid. Unfortunately, they may even have a greater impact than Covid has had on the world at large.

When Should You Take A Loan?

Ever asked yourself when you should consider taking a loan. Do you even ever think about asking yourself why should take a loan. The number one thing that retards development is loans.

People can take loans for the most avoidable things in this world. Not just a loan by the way but a very huge amount of money just for luxury. Do you really think you will go far with all those loans around you.

Why would you take a loan just to throw a party? Is it that important, how pressing is it. I mean, a party is just for a day but some one takes a loan that they are going to pay for years. A lot of people have taken loans just to have a luxurious wedding to show off among their mates.

What happens after this though? It is so sad that even the person giving you the loan will not tell you its a bad idea.

Its not completely bad to take loans of your cause is right but anything beyond that is suicide. Its fine to take a loan for business, investments and sometimes health. That is very understandable, it is something people can listen to when you tell them.

You must have a very good cause to go sign for a loan and remember not to take beyond what you need.

Unfortunately, people who take loans for pressing reasons are very few compared to those who take them just for just. No wonder our cost of living doesn’t match our standard of living.

How will you develop yourself when you have a number of loans to pay. Teach yourself to live without certain things until the time you can afford them. Live within your means and spend accordingly but of course save.

Stay away from anything that is going to push you into the loan business. Plan well for your life and you won’t regret a thing.
