A Witch Makes Man To Eat Grass After He Stole A Bull

Residents of Kachoch village, Kachoch parish in Malera Sub County of Bukedea district woke up to the shock of a man eating grass. The man, identified as Akol Julius was accused of allegedly stealing a bull from a one Okwi David.

Julius Akol, aged 48, was got by his fellow residents on Thursday morning chewing grass. This was after Okwi David, the owner of the bull, reportedly sought the services of a witch who came and performed sacrifices at his home.

Okwi revealed that this was not the first time his home has been raided by thieves.

“I was tired of reporting to the police because they failed to assist me. That is why I decided to bring a witch doctor to help me this time around,” Okwi added.

Additionally, Okwi said, “it is now the fourth time when my home has been robbed by unidentified thieves but police still failed to help me.”

What authorities said;

The head of the village Defense Committee(Sam Osekeny) agreed that indeed the Office of the LC1 has been receiving reports from Okwi concerning robberies.

Osekeny added that when the witch doctor was brought to Okwi’s home, neighbors and other residents in the community were asked whether any of them knew the whereabouts of Okwi’s bull but none compiled.

“This is not the first time Okwi complained to the authorities. We had hopes that the witchdoctor would expose this person. We are tired of theft in the community”, Osekeny said.
An eye witness said the witchdoctor mixed herbs with water and greenish leaves and later gave everyone present to drink.

The witch had apparently warned that whoever stole Okwi’s bull would start eating grass in less than twenty four hours. Indeed within a short while, Akol started feasting on grass.
